The Hydrotech HTO Series sets a higher standard for home water treatment. Most combination units mix carbon and resin in a single tank, which leads to media migration and expensive replacement costs. The HTO Series uses a unique two-tank design, keeping the media beds separate. This allows for superior chlorine removal and allows you to replace the carbon (which wears out faster) without having to replace your softening resin.

- Uses Upflow Regeneration which saves salt by preserving the unused portion of the softening bed from unnecessary depletion during regeneration.
- Uses Precise Brining which calculates the exact amount of brine required to regenerate, using up to 30% less salt.
- The Backwash Frequency Preset saves up to 2,000 gallons of water per year by skipping up to ten (10) backwash cycles on clean municipal water supply.
- Has a Soft Water Brine Tank Refill which keeps tank and injectors clean.
- Has an Emergency Regen functionality: if capacity goes below 3%, an automatic 20-minute recharge restores softening until the next regeneration.
